Animation at UWE is taught within the prestigious Bristol School of Animation, which is linked to some of the UK's major animation practitioners. This creative animation course offers a broad range of skills enabling graduates to operate independently, creatively, and flexibly in the commercial environment. While animation has its roots within a cinematic and television environment, it now extends to new technologies, delivery systems, narrative and non-narrative forms, and convergent media formats.

The Animation Pathway offers students in the Graphic Design, Illustration, and Media Practice disciplines the opportunity to specialise in animation, working along side MA students and collaborating with other institutions.
